These Terms & Conditions apply to the purchase of tickets and related products or services through the COCA Theatre website, online ticketing platform, mobile interface, or other official ticketing channels (“Ticketing Service”).
By accessing the Ticketing Service or completing a purchase, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. About COCA Theatre
COCA Theatre (“COCA”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a home for independent film, live performance, and immersive audiovisual experiences located in Titik Dua, Ubud, Bali, Indonesia.
These Terms & Conditions apply to tickets and other products or services made available through COCA Theatre’s official ticketing channels.
Where tickets are sold through a third-party ticketing or payment platform, additional terms imposed by that platform may also apply. In the event of any conflict, the terms specifically relating to the ticket, screening, payment, or service concerned will apply to the extent permitted by applicable law.
2. Ticket Purchases
Tickets are subject to availability and are sold on a first-come, first-served basis unless otherwise stated.
A booking is considered confirmed only after payment has been successfully completed and a booking confirmation or ticket has been issued.
After completing your purchase, you will receive a booking confirmation containing relevant booking information, which may include:
- the film or screening title;
- date and screening time;
- number of tickets;
- seat number(s), where applicable;
- booking reference or ticket number; and
- the total amount paid.
Please check your booking confirmation carefully immediately after purchase. COCA is not responsible for errors resulting from incorrect information entered by the customer, including incorrect dates, screening times, ticket quantities, names, or contact details.
3. Ticket Prices and Fees
Ticket prices are displayed during the booking process and may vary depending on the film, screening, event, day, time, seating category, or promotional offer.
Any applicable booking, payment, platform, or service fee will be displayed before payment is completed.
All prices are stated in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) unless otherwise indicated.
COCA reserves the right to change ticket prices, fees, promotions, and products at any time. Any changes will not affect bookings that have already been successfully confirmed and paid for.
4. Payment
Payment must be completed using the payment methods made available through the Ticketing Service.
A booking will not be confirmed until the payment process has been successfully completed.
If payment is unsuccessful, interrupted, reversed, or not received, COCA reserves the right to cancel or release the associated seat reservation.
If you believe you have been charged but have not received a booking confirmation, please contact COCA using the contact details provided below and include your transaction or payment reference where available.
5. Booking Confirmation and Entry
Customers must present a valid booking confirmation, QR code, digital ticket, or other proof of purchase when entering COCA Theatre.
COCA may require the customer to present the booking confirmation on a mobile device or in another accessible form.
Each ticket is valid only for the specific film, screening, date, time, and seat stated on the ticket.
Tickets may not be duplicated, reproduced, resold, or otherwise misused.
COCA reserves the right to refuse entry where a ticket appears to be fraudulent, duplicated, altered, previously used, or otherwise invalid.
6. Seat Selection
Where assigned seating is available, customers may select their preferred available seat during the booking process.
Seat availability is subject to change and may be affected by operational requirements, technical issues, venue configuration, accessibility requirements, or other circumstances.
COCA reserves the right to make reasonable changes to seating arrangements where necessary. Where reasonably possible, affected customers will be informed and offered an alternative seat of equivalent or appropriate value.
7. Changes, Cancellations and Refunds
Tickets are generally non-refundable and non-transferable once purchased, except where:
- COCA cancels a screening;
- COCA materially changes the scheduled screening;
- COCA is unable to provide the screening for reasons within its control; or
- a refund, cancellation, or exchange is otherwise required by applicable law or expressly offered by COCA.
Where a screening is cancelled by COCA, customers will be contacted using the contact details provided during booking and will be informed of the available refund, exchange, or alternative arrangements.
Requests to change a ticket, screening, date, time, or seat are subject to availability and COCA's applicable ticketing policy.
Once a screening has commenced, tickets will generally not be eligible for refund or exchange.
8. Late Arrival
Customers are encouraged to arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled screening time.
Late entry may be restricted where necessary to avoid disrupting the screening or other guests.
Where late entry is permitted, customers may be required to wait until an appropriate moment before entering the theatre.
Late arrival does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund, exchange, or alternative screening.
9. Age Restrictions and Content Ratings
Customers are responsible for ensuring that they meet any applicable age restrictions or content-rating requirements for the film or screening they are attending.
Where applicable, customers may be required to provide valid identification or other evidence of age.
COCA reserves the right to refuse admission where a customer does not meet the applicable age requirement.
Parents or guardians are responsible for determining whether a particular film or screening is appropriate for children accompanying them, subject to applicable age restrictions.
10. Children and Minors
Children and minors must comply with the applicable age restrictions for the relevant film or screening.
Where required by COCA's venue policy or applicable law, children may need to be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or responsible adult.
Parents, guardians, and accompanying adults remain responsible for the conduct and supervision of children in their care.
11. Food and Beverage Policy
Outside food and beverages are not permitted inside COCA Theatre.
For the comfort, cleanliness, safety, and overall experience of all guests, food and beverages consumed inside the theatre must be purchased from COCA.
Customers may not bring food or beverages purchased from outside vendors, restaurants, delivery services, or other establishments into the theatre.
This policy applies to all outside food and beverages, including takeaway food, bottled or canned drinks, coffee, snacks, and other consumable products.
Exceptions may be made where reasonably necessary for medical, dietary, accessibility, or other special circumstances. Guests requiring an exception are encouraged to contact COCA in advance.
COCA reserves the right to require customers to remove outside food or beverages from the theatre before entry.
12. Alcohol
Alcoholic beverages may only be purchased and consumed in accordance with COCA's applicable service policies and Indonesian law.
Guests must comply with any age restrictions applicable to the purchase or consumption of alcoholic beverages.
COCA reserves the right to refuse alcohol service or ask guests to leave the premises where necessary for safety, legal compliance, or the comfort of other guests.
13. Guest Conduct
Guests are expected to behave respectfully towards COCA staff, performers, filmmakers, artists, and other guests.
The following are not permitted:
- disruptive, threatening, abusive, or offensive behaviour;
- harassment of staff or other guests;
- smoking or vaping in prohibited areas;
- damaging venue property or equipment;
- unauthorized recording or photography where prohibited;
- bringing prohibited or dangerous items into the venue;
- consuming outside food or beverages inside the theatre; or
- any conduct that may interfere with the screening or the experience or safety of other guests.
COCA reserves the right to refuse entry or ask a guest to leave where their conduct is considered disruptive, unsafe, unlawful, or inconsistent with these Terms & Conditions.
No refund will generally be provided where a guest is removed from the venue because of misconduct.
14. Unauthorized Recording of Films and Copyright
Recording, photographing, filming, livestreaming, or otherwise reproducing any part of a film during a screening without authorization is strictly prohibited.
Unauthorized recording or reproduction of a film may constitute copyright infringement under Law No. 28 of 2014 concerning Copyright (Undang-Undang Nomor 28 Tahun 2014 tentang Hak Cipta). Article 9 sets out the copyright holder’s exclusive economic rights, including rights relating to reproduction of the work.
Infringement of those economic rights may be subject to criminal penalties in accordance with Article 113, with the nature and severity of the applicable penalty depending on the form of infringement and the statutory elements established. Where the conduct meets the statutory elements of piracy under the Copyright Law, the applicable penalty may be up to 10 (ten) years’ imprisonment and/or a fine of up to IDR 4,000,000,000 (four billion Indonesian Rupiah).
COCA reserves the right to stop any unauthorized recording, require the cessation and/or deletion of such recording where appropriate, refuse entry, remove the guest from the theatre, and/or report suspected infringement to the relevant rights holder or authorities in accordance with applicable law.
15. Personal Belongings
Guests are responsible for their personal belongings while visiting COCA.
COCA is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings except to the extent required by applicable law.
Guests should not leave valuable items unattended.
16. Accessibility
COCA aims to provide an accessible and welcoming experience for all guests.
Guests who require accessibility assistance are encouraged to contact COCA before their visit so that reasonable arrangements can be discussed.
17. Screening Changes and Cancellations
Film schedules and screening times may occasionally change due to circumstances including technical issues, operational requirements, distributor or rights-holder requirements, venue circumstances, or other events beyond COCA's reasonable control.
Where a screening is cancelled or materially changed, COCA will make reasonable efforts to notify affected customers using the contact details provided during booking.
Where appropriate, COCA may offer a refund, exchange, alternative screening, or other remedy in accordance with its applicable policy and Indonesian law.
18. Promotions and Special Offers
Promotional tickets, complimentary tickets, discounts, memberships, vouchers, and special offers may be subject to additional terms.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, promotions cannot be combined with other promotions and cannot be exchanged for cash.
COCA reserves the right to withdraw or amend a promotion where reasonably necessary, subject to applicable law and any rights already accrued by customers.
19. Photography and Filming by COCA
COCA may conduct or authorize photography, filming, and other forms of audiovisual recording at COCA Theatre and during COCA events or programmes for documentation, editorial, communications, and promotional purposes.
Guests may appear incidentally in general photographs or recordings of the venue, audience, atmosphere, or activities taking place at COCA.
Where COCA intends to specifically and intentionally feature an identifiable guest in dedicated promotional or marketing content, COCA will seek the guest's separate consent.
Guests who do not wish to be intentionally featured in photographs or recordings are welcome to inform a member of the COCA team. COCA will make reasonable efforts to accommodate such requests.
Where a guest has provided separate consent for the use of their image, likeness, voice, or other recording for marketing or promotional purposes, that consent will be handled in accordance with the COCA Theatre Privacy Policy.
Parents or legal guardians may inform COCA if they do not wish for a child in their care to be intentionally featured in photographs or recordings.
20. Website and Ticketing Service
COCA aims to keep the Ticketing Service accurate and available; however, temporary interruptions may occur due to maintenance, technical issues, network problems, payment-provider issues, or circumstances beyond COCA's reasonable control.
COCA does not guarantee that the Ticketing Service will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.
21. Fraud and Misuse
Customers must not use the Ticketing Service for fraudulent, unlawful, abusive, or unauthorized purposes.
COCA may cancel bookings, restrict accounts, refuse transactions, or take other appropriate action where it reasonably suspects fraud, abuse, ticket manipulation, unauthorized resale, or other misuse.
22. Third-Party Ticketing and Payment Providers
Where COCA uses third-party providers to operate its ticketing, payment, communication, or other digital services, certain aspects of your transaction may be processed through those providers.
Such providers may have their own terms and privacy policies, which may apply to their services.
COCA will only share or permit access to personal data as reasonably necessary for the relevant service and in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
23. Personal Data and Privacy
Personal information provided when using the Ticketing Service is handled in accordance with the COCA Theatre Privacy Policy.
